Robotic palletizing with a cobot is a compact solution for automatically stacking cartons, packages and lighter products onto pallets. Thanks to the use of a collaborative robot, the workstation has a small footprint and is particularly suitable for operations where there is not enough space for a conventional robotic palletizing cell with extensive safety fencing.
The system is designed primarily for low to medium throughput, lighter packages weighing up to 15 kg and production lines where flexibility is important. It is suitable for the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and chemical industries for palletizing cartons, boxes, packages and other grouped products.
Robotic palletizing with a cobot enables easy changes to the palletizing pattern and quick adaptation to a new product or packaging type. The workstation can be equipped with a suitable gripper, conveyor, pallet position, safety components and a simple operator interface.
