Induction sealing

The induction sealing unit is designed for automatic sealing of induction foil liners inside caps to the necks of containers. It ensures product integrity, tamper evidence, and extended shelf life. The unit is installed above the conveyor and can be adjusted in height to accommodate different container sizes. Depending on cap diameter and required line speed, systems with either air or water cooling are available.

Process Description

  • As filled and capped containers exit the capping machine, they move along the conveyor and pass beneath the induction sealing head.
  • The system generates a high-frequency electromagnetic field that heats the aluminum foil inside the cap, bonding it to the container mouth.
  • This process is completed within milliseconds and does not require any physical contact.
  • Optionally, the unit can include a foil detection sensor. If no foil is present in the cap, the container can be automatically rejected to ensure quality control.
